DIED- At his home near LeRoy, La., on Friday, Jan. 16, 1925 at 6 a. m., 
Augustin Landry, aged 70 years.

Mr. Landry was a very prominent farmer of that section and his loss will be 
felt by the entire community. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife and the 
following children: Messrs. Opta, Elias, Olifis, Hazard and Isaac Landry; 
Misses Edia and Lula Landry, Mrs. J. E. Broussard, Mrs. Theophas Guidry and 
Mrs. Leonard Bonin.

To the bereaved family we extend our deepest sympathy.

Augustin Landry Dies at Leroy.

(Special to The Signal)

Leroy, La., Jan. 6 - Augustin Landry died at his home near here at 7 a.m. this morning
at the age of 70 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the Leroy Catholic church
Saturday morning, interment in the church cemetery following.

Deceased, one of the most prominent farmers of this section of the parish, had been ill
with dropsy and heart disease for the past six months. He is survived by six sons and five
daughters and other relatives.
