Alcide LeBlanc --- The death of Mr. Alcide LeBlanc of this city, last Sunday night, at 11:50 p.m., came as a shock to the community, having been sick but a few days. His death was caused from pneumonia, and was 51 years, one month and 12 days. The funeral was held Monday evening from the Catholic Church, the burial, which was very largely attended, took place at the old Catholic cemetery. Mr. LeBlanc was a member of the city council, having been elected at the municipal election held in the spring. He leaves four children, Mrs. Aronce Boudreaux, of New Orleans; Mr. Theodore LeBlanc of Lake Charles; Edwin and Willie. Three sisters, Mrs. Jules Bernard, Mrs. Albert LeBlanc and Mrs. Elias Broussard, and three brothers, O. LeBlanc, Rom P. LeBlanc, and Charles LeBlanc.
