JOE MILLS. - Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Perry for Mrs. Joe B. Mills, 81, nee Leontine Feray, who died at her home in Vermilion parish Monday afternoon at 3:55 o'clock p. m. Mrs. Mills was the daughter of the late Captain F. F. Feray who was well known throughout Southwest Louisiana. her mother was the late Seraphin Verret. Captain Feray was a native of France. Surviving Mrs. Mills are two sons, Earl of Vermilion parish, and Dee of Port Arthur, Texas; five daughters, Mrs. Whit Holmes of Abbeville, Mrs. I. R. Brumfield of Abbeville, Mrs. J. W. Keith of Rochelle, Mrs. Lester Stansbury and Miss Rosa Mills of Vermilion parish; and one sister, Mrs. Hank Stansbury of Abbeville. The services were held from the family's residence in Perry. The Reverend J. A. McCormack, pastor of the Abbeville Methodist Church, conducted the religious rites. The Reverend L. A. Stagg, pastor of the Abbeville Baptist church, assisted in conducting the religious rites. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery in Abbeville. The funeral arrangements were in charge of Paul U. Bourque of Abbeville.
