The Rev. Joseph Decoteau will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m. A rosary was held Thursday evening. Mr. O'Quain died Thursday, April 30,1998, in Sulphur. A native of Gueydan, he was a resident of Sulphur and a longtime member of the band, Sonny O'Quain and the Choupique Ramblers. He was accomplished at the accordion and was a selftaught Cajun French singer. Survivors include his wife, Lena O'Quain of Sulphur; one son, Tommy O'Quain of Sulphur; one daughter, Jennie Carpenter of Sulphur; one brother, Dale O'Quain of Sulphur; one sister, Betty Peveto of Sulphur; and six grandchildren. Overley — LCAP 3/19/2001 GUEYDAN — Funeral services for Souisiana H. Overley, 84, will be at 2 p.m. today, March 19, in Matthews and Son Funeral Home. The Revs. Vernon Martindale, Delmond Rogers and Bill Blanchard will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Mrs. Overley died at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2001, in the Crowley hospital. She was a native of Gueydan. Survivors include one son, Roy Overley Jr. of Gueydan; six daughters, Margaret Freeland, Mrs. D.J. (Jennell) Meaux, Mrs. Johnny (Elizabeth "Torchy") Venissat and Mrs. William (Judy) Blanchard, all of Gueydan, Mrs. Jaime (Susie) Rovelo of San Antonio and Mrs. Bart (Polly) Sims of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Clifford Hall of Bastrop and Irvin Hall of Carrollton, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
