The many friends of Mrs. Leo Perret, formerly of this place will regret to 
hear of her death.

Death. - We are pained to announce the death of Mrs. Leo Perret, of this 
parish at the Insane Asylum at Jackson, La. She was sent there nearly two 
years ago, with reasonable hopes of her recovery, but time rolled on and the 
reaper of all woes relieved her of the unfortunate affliction that was 
visited upon her. She leaves a number of daughters grown to womanhood and an 
aged husband to bewail the misfortune that has fallen to their lot.
