MEMORY. - On Tuesday last, the Death Angel, over whom no one has control, 
entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reynolds, of Abbeville, and carried off 
their only little daughter, Gladys, to figure amongst the other bright and 
shining stars of the "World beyond the Grave."

It is, indeed, very sad to think that Death creeps up on us so unexpectedly; it 
seems as though it is His motive and will to call away the pure and most 
innocent, and those that are most dear to us. But, nevertheless, our Great 
Creator knows best and has done all things well, so why should we poor, helpless 
creatures utter a single murmur?

The IBERIAN extends its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents and relatives 
of the deceased.
