PIONEER PASSES AWAY. - Alexion Vincent, aged 87, whose death at his home near 
Kaplan, Saturday, was a pioneer of Vermilion Parish. His wife preceded him in 
death six years ago. Five daughters, Mrs. N. Melacon [sic], Mrs. Theo. Breaux, 
Mrs. Gus Breaux, and Mrs. Augustus Broussard, Maurice; and four sons, Alexis, 
Stowell, Texas; Onezie, Crowley; Louis, Kaplan and Dixon, Maurice, survive with 41 
grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.
