MINOR -- ABSHIRE

The hospitable home of John J. Abshire, Jr., was the destination of his many 
friends last Wednesday morning, the occasion being the wedding of his 
charming daughter Olita to the talented Mr. W. W. Minor. Nothing was spared 
to make his attractive home more attractive. The parlor was profusely 
decorated with large bouquets of flowers, and a magnificent bell of lace and 
flowers hung suspended from the centre. At 11 a. m., the happy couple stood 
beneath this symbol of hapiness and joy, and the marriage ceremony was 
performed by the Rev. Lequelka.

The bride, looking lovely in her snowy robes, and the handsome groom made a 
pretty picture as they received the congratulations of their many friends. 
After a delicate repast had been served the gusets (sic) chased the hours 
with music and song. Mr. and Mrs. Minor left the same afternoon on a month's 
honey-moon to Chicago and northern cities carrying with them many godspeeds 
and good wishes in which The Meridional joins.
