Directions: From Leesville, LA, go approximately 16 miles west on 
Hwy 8, turn right on Hwy 111 where it turns to the north from Hwy 8, 
go approximately 3/4 of a mile, turn left on Burr Cemetery Road, go 
approximately 1.8 miles. The cemetery is off the road on the right, 
and you will have to park on the side of the road.

This is a small family cemetery. There are two old fenced in areas 
and the fencing on the first area is damaged. It appears a larger 
fence was around all these graves, but has been damaged.

The first fenced area on the right from the road has 5 graves. The 
tombstones are hard to read, and I will attempt to get another reading 
on them later. One of the stones appears to have been broken off at the 
ground. They are, from the road,  as follows:

E.A.B footstone

L.E.B. footstone

The next tombstone has two names, dates on it - appears to be children. 
One name is Theodosia, and there is a footstone reading T.E.B


The second fenced area has two graves. They are, from the road, as follows:

Ernest W. Burr

Departed this life
Oct 4, 1867
Gone to be an angel
Footstone: E.W.B.

Murray W. Burr
Born May 22, 1828
Departed this life
June 29, 1867
Couldn't read bottom inscription
Footstone: M.W.B.

He lived as a christian,

Rachel H. Burr
Born Sept. 10, 1800
Died July 21, 1880
