Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery - Vernon Parish, Louisiana Submitted by Jane McManus ********************************************** Copyright. All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From LA Hwy. 121 in LaCamp, turn South on LA Hwy. 399 (a large sign on Southwest corner reads "Oak Grove Baptist Church"), and go approximately 1.0 miles. This new cemetery is located on the right side of the highway inside a large fenced area, probably about an acre in size. A sign near the front right corner indicates the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery was established in 1976. Continue down this road a short distance to the Church that is located on the left. Behind the church is a second large burial site that is also fenced. Burials were read as approached from large double gates on highway side by Jane P. McManus, 24 September 1994 and 10 January 1995. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Right Front Section]: Jeter, L. T.
