REDMON African-American BURIALS (Abandoned) - Vernon Parish

In Simpson, turn onto LA Hwy. 465 and go toward Hutton for
approximately 5.4 miles.  At this point the road turns sharply to the left
(West)
in a 90-degree turn.  Continue from this point for 3.2 miles, and park
on the left (South) side of the road.  The small burial site is located
approximately 75' in the woods on the right side of the road (North).
There is a new Hurricane fence around the two burials which have nice
granite markers.  On the gate is the sign:  Jeff & Amos.   Inscriptions
copied by Jane P. McManus 11 April 1996.
