Going east toward Alexandria, go past the Hicks School Road for approximately .2 miles. The small cemetery is on the left side of the road (north), about 75' from the highway. Although it is surrounded by trees, the fence can be seen from the road. This small cemetery is beautifully maintained; there are no weeds or grass inside the fence, and it is always neatly raked. There are only four burials, three adults and one child, and there are new flowers at each of the four burials. The three adult tombstones are identical, and the infant tombstone is slightly smaller. She had two granddaughters living with her at the time, Violet Tyler and Violet Clifton. Violet Tyler married Willie Clifton and they are buried in the Clifton Cemetery, Rapides, LA. Violet Clifton (b. 1868) may be the Violet Terrell above. No other information is available. JPM]
