Trull Cemetery - Vernon Parish, Louisiana Submitted by Jane McManus ********************************************** Copyright. In New Llano, turn west onto LA Hwy. 1121 and go approximately 3.6 miles. Turn right onto No. 4 View Road (large sign at this corner for "ELIMECH"). The present owners of the property live in the first house on the right. Just beyond the owner's house, turn right at the Trull Cemetery sign, drive behind the trailer, and enter the property through a opening in a wooden fence. Approximately .4 miles from this point after several turns, on top of a hill, is the small, fenced family cemetery. The atmosphere on top of this hill is tranquil and peaceful; a perfect setting for a peaceful, final resting place. The trees have been thinned on top of this hill, and those that remain shade the area, similar to a brush arbor. There are no weeds or briars, but the floor of the cemetery is covered with wild fern. Tombstone inscriptions were recorded by Jane P. McManus on 29 March 1996 with assistance from Elton Jackson, Jr., and submitted on 10 October 2000.
