C. Cavanaugeh, a resident of said Parish and State, who declared to me in the presence of the two attesting witnesses, that for and in consideration of the sum of FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE ($425.00) DOLLARS, cash in hand paid to him, he has and does by this instrument Bargain, Sell, Convey and Deliver unto Luther C. Carver, a resident of said Parish and State, the following described automobile, to-wit: One (1) Chrysler Sedan, 1938 Model, Motor No. C I 825222, Tag No. 236-368. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said car unto said purchaser, his heirs or assigns, and free from Liens or debt. THE GRANTOR furthermore binds himself, his heirs or administrators, to forever Warrant and Defend the title of the property herein conveyed, unto the purchaser, his heirs or assigns against the claim of anyone making lawful claim thereto, or any part thereof.
