SOME PARISH BANKS

The Police Jury Minute Book mentions the names of several banks no longer in
operation, or at least not under their original name.

In July, 1904, it was voted to distribute the parish accounts as follows:

2-5 per cent--First National Bank of Leesville
2-5 per cent--Bank of Leesville
1-5 per cent--Rosepine Banking Company

In March, 1918, the First State Bank and the West Louisianan Bank, both of
Leesville, are noted.
