Patent No. 2496

To all to whom these Presents shall Come--Greeting:
Whereas, Lesley McCollough of the Parish of Vernon in the State of Louisiana,
purchased per Certificate No. 1724.N.L.L. - Mch 15th 1890 S Ex of SW4-
Section No. 26, Township No. 1.S. Range No. 6.W, in the SW Land District, 
Parish of Vernon containing 40.00 acres, according to the official plat of the
survey of said lands in the State Land Office. 

Now, Know Ye, That the State of Louisiana, in consideration of the premises and
in conformity with law, in such case made and provided, Has Given, Granted and
Sold and by these presents, Does Give, Grant and Sell unto the said 
Lesley McCollough and to his heirs the above described land, unto the said
Lelsey McCollough and to his heirs and assigns forever. 

In Testimony Whereof, I, Francis Tillou Nicholls, Governor of the State of
Louisiana, have caused these Letters to be made Patent and the Seal of the 
State Land office to be hereunto affixed.

Given Under My Hand, at the City of Baton Rouge, on the 15 day of March in 
the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety and of the 
Independence of the United States the One Hundred and fourteenth
