I Zinnamon McCullough of the Parish of Dido P.O. Vernon Ph La do hereby
apply to enter under the provisions of Act No. 21 of the General Assembly
of the State of Louisiana, approved February 25th, 1871,entitled "An Act
to secure Homesteads to actual settlers on the Public Lands of the State,"
the S 1/2 of SE 1/4 NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 26 Twenty-six in Township
No. 1 one S of Range No. 6 six in the South western La-- District, containing
125 71/100 acres.

Clerk's Office 14th Judicial District Court, Parish of Vernon}
I, Zinnamon McCullough of the Parish of Vernon Parish La Dido PO. having
filed my application No. (blank) for an entry under the provisions of the
Act No. 21 of the General Assembly of the State of Louisiana, approved
February 25th, 1871, entitled, "An Act to secure Homesteads to actual
settlers on the public lands of the State," do solemnly swear that I am a 
citizen of the State of Louisiana, and over twenty-one years of age, that 
I make this entry for the purpose of actual settlement and cultivation, and 
that the land applied for is not subject to overflow so as to render it unfit
for cultivation of crops; that said application is made for my own use and 
benefits, and not directly or indirectly for the use or benefit of any other
person or persons whomsoever, and that I have never heretofore had the benefit
of the Act.

certify that I have interrogated this applicant, and from his answers to me 
made under oath, I believe the above affidavit to be true.
