PARISH OF VERNON

Before me the undersigned authority duly commissioned and
sworn, personally came and appeared J.W. Bass, Polly Gordy,
Eliza Tippitt, Lizy Laurence, M.C. Bass, Kate Williams

Who being by me first duly sworn deposes and says: That they
are the heirs and only heirs of the deceased pensioner Emeline
Bass who died October 20, 1928 and that they make this affidavit
for the purposes of collecting from the board of pension
commissioners of the State of Louisiana, the balance due the 
pensioner up to the date of her death and we hereby authorize
the board of Persion Commissioners to pay the said amount to
Henry Gordy of Slagle La.
