"Mrs. Georgia Ann E. Boswell. The subject of this sketch was born in Harrison County, Mississippi, May 7, 1855. Her parents moved to Louisiana 1858 where she grew to womanhood and was married to G.W. Boswell on May 5, 1870. She joined Missionary Baptist Church in summer of 1876, and was baptized by Elder M. Smith, being the second person baptized where she lived. She lived a faithful member about 22 years and died May 20, 1899, age 44 years and 15 days. She leaves a devoted husband, seven sons, and three daughters, besides a host of friends and relatives. The funeral service was conducted by Elder M. Smith. Her remains are in the family graveyard at Laurel Hill Church." "It's hard to break the tender cord, when love was bound the heart. Burns and Ann Elizabeth Wells. She married George W. Boswell born 15 Dec 1842 LA and did 13 Jul 1924 LA, son of George W. Boswell and Esther Nelson. Georgia (Burns) Boswell is buried in Pine Island Cemetery, Simpson, LA. George W. Boswell is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Leander, LA.
