Mrs Lawnie A. Johnson
DeRidder - Funeral services for Mrs. Lawnie A.(Eunice Brister)Johnston,
71, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 1986 in Hixson Funeral Home. The 
Rev. Alvin Stother will officiate. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery in
Pitkin. Mrs. Johnston died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in the DeRidder hospital.
She was a native of Pitkin and had lived in DeRidder 17 years. She was 
a member of Westview Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband; one 
daughter, Mrs. Aileene Bailey of Pasadena, Texas; three sons, Darrell 
Howard of Vidor, Tx., Galen Howard of Tomball, Tx., and Kenneth Howard 
of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Alma Wolfe of Houston; five brothers, Garland 
Brister of Houston, Edneil Brister of Dallas, Don Brister of Arlington, 
Glynn Brister of Orange and Robert Brister of Vinton, six grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
