Robert (Bob) M. Brister, 71, of Starks, La. died Tuesday at  his
home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Claybar Funeral Home in
Orange with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.
A native of Leesville, La., he lived in West Orange 40 years before
moving to Starks eight years ago, was a retired painter for Texas
U.S. Chemical Co. in Port Neches and was a World War II, U.S. Army
veteran. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Beall Brister of Starks,
sons, Wendell Brister and Ricky Brister both of Orange; a sister, Alma
Lee Wolfe of Houston; and brothers, Ed Brister of Whitesboro, Garland
Brister of Houston; Glynn Brister of Orange and Don Brister of Rusk.
