Wm. Brister, 81, Buried Sunday
Funeral services for William Brister, 81,
who died at his home, in the Drakes Fork
community, Saturday afternoon, at 2:30,
were held Sunday, from the Drakes Fork
church at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Clarence
Dees, of DeRidder, officiating. Interment
was in the Drakes Fork Cemetery, under
the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home, 
of, DeRidder.
Besides his widow, Mrs W.M. Brister, the
deceased is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Mary Jane Short and Mrs. Savella
Carpenter, both of DeRidder, four sons,
Tyler Brister, DeRidder. H.H., Huey and
Luke Brister, all of Pitkin.
