CECIL T. CARVER 
Services for Cecil Thomas Carver, 70, will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the 
Chapel of Hixson with the Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating. Burial will be 
in Good Hope Cemetery, Anacoco. Carver, of Anacoco, died at 10 a.m. Saturday 
in Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX. 
He was a native of Alexandria and was a retired auto mechanic. 
Survivors include his wife Imogene Self Carver, Anacoco; three sons, Davis 
Carver, Cecil Michael Carver, both of Clearwater, Fla.; and Keith Carver, 
Leesville; four daughters, Hortense Caldwell, Houston, TX, Ludline Hodges, 
Arlington, TX, Gloria Corley, Anchorage, Alaska, and Cecelia Maxwell, Anacoco; 
one brother, Willie Carver, Hardwood; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 
(Note: Year of death would be 1987. He was born 17 Jan 1917. Source is probably the 
LEESVILLE LEADER, April 1987. According to Jane Parker McManus book, L’EST WE FORGET, 
Vol I, page 174, he died 11 April 1987. They were wed 29 May 1937.)
