CARVER Services for Cecil Thomas Carver, 70, will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the Chapel of Hixson with the Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, Anacoco. Carver, of Anacoco, died at 10 a.m. Saturday in Methodist Hospital, Houston, TX. He was a native of Alexandria and was a retired auto mechanic. Survivors include his wife Imogene Self Carver, Anacoco; three sons, Davis Carver, Cecil Michael Carver, both of Clearwater, Fla.; and Keith Carver, Leesville; four daughters, Hortense Caldwell, Houston, TX, Ludline Hodges, Arlington, TX, Gloria Corley, Anchorage, Alaska, and Cecelia Maxwell, Anacoco; one brother, Willie Carver, Hardwood; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
