Tilley officiating. Burial will follow in the Burr Ferry Cemeery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville. Mr. Carver, age 74, of Burr Ferry, Died Friday, February 4, 2005 at his residence in Burr Ferry. He was a native of Simpson, Louisiana, a long time resident of the Burr Ferry area, a retired heavy equipment operator with the Sabine River Authority after 20 years of service and attended the Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Nena Faye Haymon Carver of Burr Ferry; two sons, William Austin Carver and Walter Allen Carver of Burr Ferry; one daughter, Nena Elaine McClain of Toledo Bend; two brothers, Cullen Ray Carver of Burr Ferry and Grover Cleveland Carver of Monterey, California; four sisters, Cleola Tilly of Burr Ferry, Claudia Vay Willis of Moss Bluff, Grace Martin of Pineville and Lural Dodson of Shreveport; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
