Elder Truman Keel and the Rev. V. L. Montgomery will officiate. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery at Dry Prong under direction of Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will be at the church until time of services. Mr. Corbett died at 6:18 p.m. Sunday in a Merryville nursing home. A native of Colfax, he was a resident of Rosepine for eight years. He was retired fro the Coca Cola Bottling Company in DeRidder where he worked in the service and maintenance department. He had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s and was a member of South Vernon Sportsman's Association. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Corbett; two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Faye Williamson of Merryville and Mrs. Evelyn E. Chance of Leesville; one son, Eddie Corbett of Merryville; two stepsons, Gary L. Foshee of Rosepine and Clinton L. Foshee of Leesville; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Faye Bryant of Dry Prong and Mrs. Edith Bell of Big Sandy, Texas, five grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren. NOTE: He was the son of Edmond Ray Corbett and Hallie Roberta Torry Corbett of Grant Parish and the uncle of Bernice Brooks of Sulpher, LA
