Pearl Tippit Cooley
Services for Pearl Tippit Cooley will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2005, 
at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Glen Cooley and Rev. Terry Ward 
will officiate. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle. Visitation 
will be Thursday, October 20, 2005, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, October 21, 
from 8 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.

Pearl Tippit Cooley, 94, of Slagle, Louisiana, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005, 
at The Woodlands Health Care Center in Leesville. She was an LPN at Broyels 
Clinic and retired after 30 years of employment. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edmond Cooley; one son, 
Calvin Cooley and one grandson, Wesley Cooley.

She was survived by one son, Norman Ross Cooley of Slagle; one daughter, 
Patricia Cooley of Brazoria, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
