Dewey D. Dowden
Leesville

Services for Dewey D. Dowden, 78 of Leesville were to be at 3 pm today
in the chapel of Hixson with the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh officiating. Burial
was to be in Castor Cemetery. He died at 2:30 am Wednesday in the Byrd
Memorial Hospital. 
Survivors include his wife, Mary Legg Dowden of Leesville; two sons,
Robert D. Dowden of Leesville and James E. Dowden of Groves, Texas; 
one brother, G.I. Dowden of Leesville; two sisters, Oma Miller of
Anacoco and Grace Muller of Galveston, Texas; and five grandchildren.
