All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From the Beauregard Parish newspaper: Don Morrison Funeral for Don Morrison, 62, of DeRidder, was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, with the Revs. Wayne Kite and Tim Boswell officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Calcasieu. He died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 9, at a hospital in Alexandria. He was born in Vernon Parish and lived in the area all of his life. He served in the Army in Vietnam and Germany. He was a master carpenter and electrician for E. K. Construction Co. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Ray Morrison of DeRidder; one son, William Morrison of DeRidder; four daughters, Diane Morrison, Donna Favinger, Susan Morrison and Emily Morrison all of DeRidder; three sisters, Mary Ann Kimberlin of Livingston, Texas, Theda Rose Wilbanks of Pineville, and Dorothy Kent of Pollock; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
