Burial will be in Cryer Cemetery under the direction of Rush, Oakdale. Durant, 91, of Oakdale died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000 in Oakdale Community Hospital. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Oakdale and Faith Worship Center in Aurora, Mo. He was a US Army veteran serving during World War II and a retired master mechanic for Scott Cain Motor Company with over 40 years service. Survivors include two sons, Billy Durant of Monett, Mo. and James Durant of Lake Charles, two daughters, Lois Addison and Betty Levron both of Oakdale; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. today in the funeral home until time of services in the church.
