Medlene James Elliott, 95, of Pitkin died Friday, April 25, 2008 in St.
Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

Funeral services weill be Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. in Gravel
Hill Baptist Church, Pitkin with Revs. Arlen Smith, Russell Devore,
and Larry White will offiiciate. Burial will be in Drakes Forkes
Cemetery, Pitkin under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home,
DeRidder.

She was a life long resident of Vernon Parish and a member of Glade
Branch Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, J.B. (Jimmie Lou) James of Orange, Texas,
Philip Lee (Paula) James of Yuma, Arizona, Daniel Willard Elliott and
Charles Evin (Carolyn) Elliott all of Pitkin, John Robert (Karen)
Elliott of Natchitoches; sixteen grandchildren; twenty seven great
grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
