Deceased Name: Odessa Cryer Haymon

Funeral services for Odessa Cryer Haymon, 92, of Leesville, 
Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 
the Mt Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Welch, Rev Huey 
Haymon, Rev. Wallace Palmer, Rev Morris Goins and Rev. Mike 
Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel 
Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of 
Leesville.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 1st from 1 pm until 
service time Saturday all at the church.

Odessa, the daughter of Johnny and Mae Cryer was born February 
15, 1921 in Leesville. She passed away Thursday, February 28th 
at the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.

Odessa was preceded in death by parents, her husband of 64 years 
Noah Haymon, son and daughter in law J. C. and Pat Haymon and 
daughter Doris Dowden.

She is survived by three sons, Melvin and Barbara Haymon of 
Leesville, J. E. and Evelyn Haymon of Anacoco and Elvin and 
Nancy Haymon of Anacoco; daughters, Merelene and J. P. Monk of 
Leesville and Jeanette and Corydell Jackson of Anacoco; son-in-
law Reid Dowden of Leesville; 15 grandchildren, 36 great 
grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
