James M. Pelt Jr.
Leesville

Services for James Madison Pelt Jr. will be at 2:30 pm today in the 
chapel of Hixson with the Rev. Bud McCullough officiating. Burial 
will be in Leesville Cemetery. Pelt, 88, of Leesville died at 12:25 am
Wednesday [Dec. 30, 1987] in Merryville Nursing Center, Merryville.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel Pelt of Leesville; one son, James
Pelt of Houston, Texas; three daughters, LaFon Sorensen of Crosby,
Texas, Billie Lodrige of Leesville and Jimmie Dixon of Coos Bay, Ore.;
nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends may call until 
time of services today in the funeral home.
