Charlie Van Johnson 

Funeral services for Charlie Van Johnson will be at 10 a.m., on 
Monday,October 3, 2005 in the Marlow Baptist Church with the Reverend 
Hardy Estes officiating. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill 
Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home,Oakdale. 

Mr. Johnson, 50 of Pitkin, entered eternal life on Friday,September 30, 
2005 in the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. 

He was born on August 2, 1955 to the union of Van and Lavonne Eaves 
Johnson in Oakdale. He was member of the Marlow Baptist Church and a 
retired truck driver. 

He is preceded in death by his father,Van Johnson.

He leaves behind his loving family, wife,Gloria Maricle Johnson of 
Pitkin; one daughter, Felisha Johnson of DeQuincy; one son,Christopher 
Van Johnson of Bayou Chicot; two stepsons, Joseph Perkins and Clarence
Perkins both ofPitkin;two step-daughters,Mary Odom and Ashley Odom 
both of Pitkin; mother,Lavonne Johnson of Pitkin; one brother,Ricky
Johnson of Dodson,La; one sister, Rebecca Johnson of Pitkin; and three
grandchildren, Breanna Johnson and Ashley Johnson both ofBayou Chicot,
and Jazlin Odom of Pitkin.

Visitation will be observed today from 3 p.m. until time of service in
the church
