The Rev. Harlon Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home of DeRidder. Visitation is until the service. Mr. Johnson died at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, in his residence. He was a native of Cravens and had lived in DeQuincy since 1972. He was a millwright with Turner Industries at Temple Island sawmill and was a former employee of Boise Cascade and of Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Nathan Johnson of Sunset; two daughters, Patricia Ann Morrison of Pitkin and Pamela Jean Mendoza of Tyler, Texas; one brother, Van Johnson of Pitkin; one sister, Mackie Genelle Ramirez of Port Arthur, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
