The Rev. Gerard Little will officiate. Burial will be in New Hackberry Cemetery. Visitation is 2-10 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. Friday. Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, in Lake Charles. A native of Cravens, he moved to Hackberry in 1937 with the CCC Camp. He worked for Amoco in the oil field. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hackberry. Survivors include three sons, Edgar Lee Johnson of Angleton, Texas, Julius Andrew "Butch" Johnson of DeRidder and Cecil Aubrey Johnson of Houston; two daughters, Ella Marie "Sissy" Harris of Goldonna and Sandra Gay "Sandy" Reioux of Donbury, Texas; one brother, Durwood Johnson of Spokane, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Edgar is retired from Amoco Oil Company as a roughneck, a mechanic and a leaderman.
