Simpson -- Funeral services for Elbert Harlis Johnson, 64, of Houston, will be at 
2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in Simpson First Assembly of God Church. Burial will be 
in Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home 
in Leesville. Mr. Johnson died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in a Houston hospital.
