Funeral services for Lavelle (Buddy) Johnson 63, of Pitkin. were held at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, March 28, 1984, at Beauregard Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverends 
Lloyd Jeans, While Ashworth and Jerry Sheffield officiating. Interment was in the 
Lone Star Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was d.o.a. at Beauregard Memorial Hospital at 8 p.m. 
Monday, March 26. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ava Mae Johnson of Pitkin; a 
daughter, Mrs. Leola Green of Dry Creek, four sons, Lavelle Lee (Pete) Johnson of 
Rosepine, Lee L. Johnson of DeRidder, Leonard and Lealon Johnson, both of Pitkin; 
four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Barmore of Rosepine, Mrs. Rhoda Bailey of DeRidder, Mrs. 
Addis Weldon and Mrs. Ruth Davis, both of Pitkin; and 18 grandchildren.
