Mrs. Lola Hicks
Houston, Tex.

Mrs. Lola Celeste Hicks, 78, of Hicks, La. died Monday in her son's
residence here.
Survivors include one son, Benny Hicks of South Houston, Tex., one
daughter, Mrs. Betty F. Gandy of Dickerson, Tex., two brothers, Lowman
[Bowman] Legg of Pineville and Lincoln Legg of Leesville; three sisters,
Mrs. Levi Duffell of Pitkin, Mrs. Lilly Brown of Pineville and Mrs. Nona
Pelt of Houston, Tex.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson Bros.,
Leesville with Rev. Luke Nevils officiating. Burial will be in the 
Ebenezer Cemetery, Hicks, La.
