Marlin McMullen 
CRAVENS -- Services for Marlin McMullen will be at 11 a.m. today in 
Gravel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Arlin Smith officiating. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Ardoin, 
Oakdale. McMullen, 78, of Pitkin died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000 in 
Oakdale Community Hospital. He was a native and resident of Pitkin. 
Survivors include his wife, Thelma McMullen of Pitkin; three sons, 
Steve McMullen of Vidor, Texas, Dale McMullen of Silsbee, Texas, and 
James Garland Chambers of Clute, Texas; one daughter, Billie Jean 
Taylor of Warren, Texas; one sister, Alice Shaffitt of Pitkin; four 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call from 8 a.m. 
until time of services today in the church.
