Morrison, Edward:
“Brother Edward Morrison was born in Sabine Parish in 1855, a few years 
later he came to Vernon Parish, and on December 31, 1876, he married Miss 
Susan Frances Hall. Rev. John Allen officiated. Born to this union was 
11 hildren, eight girls and 3 boys. Their loss is Heaven’s gain. He 
became a member of Mt. Moriah Church at Cora, Louisiana in 1896, baptized 
by L.M. Nichols. He died August 11, 1918. May God comfort the sad family 
and help the bereaved wife to look to Jesus.
