Perry, 68, of English Bayou, died at 10:40 last night at his home, following an illness of 18 months. The body was at the Hixon funeral parlors, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday. Burial will be in the Merryville Cemetery. Mr. Perry was born in Merryville on October 16, 1886. He was a Carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Perry; six daughters, Miss Marilyn Perry, Mrs. Leonard (Bobbie) Foy, Mrs. Myrtle H. Thomas and Mrs. David H. (Eloise) Hunter of Lake Charles, Mrs. David (Johnnie) Grove of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mrs. Lloyd (Clara) Fruge of California; Two sons, E.D. Perry of Lake Charles and Clarence Perry of Gardenia, California; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sullivan and John Perry of Merryville, W.R. "Rile" Perry of Lake Charles and Luther Perry of Leesville. Pallbearers will be David H. Hunter, M.H. Thomas, Billy Lyons, Leonard Foy, Lloyd Fruge and David Grove.
