Additional services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hopewell Methodist Church, Blackjack. The Revs. Mark Therlot, Wilburn Perkins, and Lynn Laurence will officiate. Burial will be in Blackjack Cemetery under direction of Ardoin. Mrs. Pollard, 93, of Oakdale died Sunday, Aug. 31, 1997 in St. Francis Nursing Home, Oberlin. She was a native of Elizabeth and a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, James "JP" Pollard of Giddings, Texas, Noville Normand of Oakdale and Wilbert Normand of Shreveport; one daughter, Linda Diane Baggette of Mittie; two brothers, Henry Perkins of Elizabeth and Millard "Buck" Perkins of Boyd, Texas; eight grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Friends may call from 8 a.m. today until time of services today in West Baptist Church.
