Charles M. Reid
Leesville, La.

Charles Mitchell Reid, 77, of Leesville died at 7:20 am Wednesday in
Oaksdale General Hospital. He was a veteran of World War I. He is 
survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Reid of Leesville; one son, Gerald
Wayne Reid of Linerville, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. B.G. Turk of
Houston, Tex.; one brother, Adolpus S. Reid of Lake Charles; two
sisters, Mrs. maggie Carroll of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Hazel Vixon
[Dixon] of Port Neches, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and one great
grandchild. Funeral services were to be held at 1:00 pm today in
Hopewell Methodist Church at Pitkin with Rev. Scott officiating.
Burial was to be in the Black Jack Cemetery at Pitkin under
direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
