Pickering Sawmill Accident

Enock J. (Joe) Smith was killed in an accident at the Pickering
Sawmill on Dec. 18, 1912. 
Mr. Smith was born Aug. 10, 1884, some say in Arkansas. He married
Dixie Wilson unknown. He is buried at the Cooper Cemetery, west of
Pickering, Louisiana. Their children: Peskel B. Smith, born Mar. 3,
1905; Inez Smith, born 1908; Kermit A. Smith, born Oct. 5, 1910; 
Olaf A. Smith, born Oct. 7, 1912
