SHAFFETT - SPECIAL TO THE TOWN TALK - OAKDALE E.H. (Bill) Shaffett, 67, of Pitkin died Sunday night in Oakdale General Hospital after a short illness. He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Shaffett of Pitkin; three sons, DeWayne Shaffett of Pitkin, Wilmer L. Sahffett of Maryland and Donald D. Shaffett of Forest Park, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie D. Johnson of Pitkin; one sister, Mrs. Marie Olson of Carson City, Cal., and seven grandchildren. Services will be held Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Pitkin with the Revs. Paul Clear and Charles Paul officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery under directions of Ardoin's Funeral home here. ALEXANDRIA TOWN TALK, 4 JANUARY, 1978, SECTION A-2 E.H. SHAFFETT Services for E.H. (Bill) Shaffett will be held at 10 am Wednesday in Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Pitkin. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Ardoin's of Oakdale. Shaffett died Sunday night in Oakdale General Hospital.
