John G Trull 
Leesville - Funeral services for John G Trull, 81, will be at 11 am 
Monday, Oct 13, in the Livg Word Church in Leesville. The Rev. Gary 
McGough, Joe Blowie and Donnie Masters will officiate. Burial will be 
in Stephens Cemetery in Pickering under direction of Hixon Funeral Home 
of Leesville. Visitation is from 8 am - 10pm Monday in the funeral home, 
and from 10 am Monday in the church. Mr. Trull died at 7 am Friday, 
Oct 10, 1997 in an alexandria Hospital. A native of the Pickering/Vernon 
Parish area, he worked 34 years for the federal civil service at Fort Polk 
and retired as a Weapons Pool Supervisor. He was an Army veteran of World 
War II and was awarded three bronze stars. He was a former member of the 
VFW Post 3106 and a member of the Enon Primitve Baptist Church in 
Pickering. Surviviors include two sons, John C Trull of Leesville and 
Jesse Q Alford of Florence Ky,; two daughters, Gladys Marie Trawick of 
Benbrook, Texas and Charlotte Ann Truss of Leesville; six grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.
