Know All Men By These Present:
That I, Allen McCullough now living with my first and only wife and being
a resident of the Parish of Vernon, State of Louisiana, for and in
consideration of the sum of Thirty Five (35.00) and No/100 Dollars, to me
in hand paid by Buck Davis have Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these 
presents do Grant, Sell, and Convey, with full subrogation to all of my
rights and actions of warranty against all former owners and vendors, unto
the said Buck Davis, a resident of the Parish of Vernon, and State of
Louisiana, all that certain lot or parcel of land situate in the 

Parish of Vernon and State of Louisiana, to-wit:
Situated in the South West Quarter of NorthWest Quarter of Section
Seventeen (17) Tp. 1 S. R. 5 W, Louisiana Merridian described as follows:

Begin 150 yards West from the South East Corner and run West 70 Yards; 
Thence North 300 yards; Thence East Seventy Yards; Thence South three
hundred (300) yards to point of beginning; 

To Have And To Hold The above described premises, together with all and
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto
the said purchaser and to his heirs and assigns, forever; and I hereby
bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators to Warrant And
Forever Defend all and singular the said premises unto the said
Buck Davis, His heirs and assigns, against any person whomsoever
lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. 

Witness by my hand, Fullerton, La., in the presence of R.H. Irving and
N.C. Waggoner lawful witnesses, on this 3rd day of September Anno
Domini One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fourteen (1914)

Before Me, Hardie D. Dear, a duly qualified Notary Public in and for said 
Parish and State, on this day appeared Allen McCullough, to me personally
known to be the identical person whose name is subscribed to the within
and foregoing instrument, and acknowledged to me in the presence of
lawful witnesses, that he executed the same on the date thereof, and that
it was his own free and voluntary act, for the uses and purposes therein
expressed. Witness my official signature and seal, at Fullerton, Louisiana,
on this 3rd day September A.D. 1914.
