Almon Monk died in his residence at Lacamp, La. April 13, 1948. He was born
March 25, 1895 at Hicks, La Vernon Parish. He was married. His wife was Alma 
Monk. His father was S.A. Monk born in Vernon Parish and his mother was Liddie
Monk born in Vernon Parish. He is buried in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Lacamp,
La.
