Dare Allen died in his residence in Hawthorne, La. Dec. 19, 1947.
He was born March 12, 1887 in Vernon Parish, La. He was married.
His wife was Olla Allen. His father was Levy Allen. He is buried
in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hornbeck, La. 

Note: Dare Allen is actually David Uriah "Dave" Allen
