Dowden, David M.

David M. Dowden died in the Charity Hospital Pineville, La. Jan. 4, 1941.  
He was born Sept. 25, 1872, place not given. He was a white male. His wife 
was Josephine Stacy. His father was Edward Dowden, who was born in Natchitoches 
Parish. His mother was Dovice Booty who was also born in Natchitoches Parish.  
He is buried in the Mitchell Cemetery Anacoco, La.

Allen, Abe L.
Leesville, LA  02/01/41
Abe L. Allen died in the Veteran Hospital in Pineville, La. Feb. 1, 1941.  
He was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and a Veteran of WWI.  
He was born April 19, 1886 in Vernon Parish La. He was married but his 
wife is not listed. He was a law officer. His father was John L. Allen 
born in Texas and his mother was Lacie Nash who was born in Natchitoches 
Parish. He is buried in the New Leesville Cemetery Leesville.

Morrison, Mamie Nash
Leesville, La.  03/05/42
Mrs. Mamie Nash Morrison died in the Leesville Hospital Mar. 5, 1942. She 
was born Apr. 23, 1920. She died as a result of child birth. She was the 
wife of Odis E. Morrison. Her father was Charlie Nash born in Vernon Parish 
and her mother was Emma K. Perkins also born in Vernon Parish. She is buried 
in Miller Cemetery located West of Leesville at Lillie Church.

Goins, M.R.
Anacoco, LA  07/12/43
M.R. "Pat" Goins died in Anacoco Creek West of DeRidder, La. at the Scout Camp 
July 12, 1943. He was born July 24, 1933 in Anacoco, La. He was the son of 
Mr. Moses Rollie Goins Sr. born in Mora, La and his wife, Bernice Miller born 
in Florien, La. He is buried in Mitchell Cemetery Anacoco, La.

Perkins, James W.
Pickering, LA  02/06/44
James W. Perkins died in his residence in the Cooper Community Feb. 6, 1944.  
He was born April 27, 1873 in Vernon Parish La. He was married. His wife was 
Nancy Walker. His father was Louis Perkins born in North Carolina and his mother 
was Mary Lyles also born in North Carolina. He is buried in Cooper Cemetery 
Pickering, La. 

Allen, Mrs. Harriet
Hornbeck, LA  12/26/45
Mrs. Harriet Allen died in the Hornbeck Community Dec. 26, 1945. She was born 
May 20, 1856 in Vernon (Rapides) Parish, La. She was a widow. Her husband was 
Leni Allen. Her father was Joe Brown born in Alabama and her mother was Annie 
West born in Vernon (Rapides) Parish, La. She is buried in Prewitt Chapel 
Cemetery, Hornbeck, La.
